Dr Michalova obtained her medical degree at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic.
She has extensive international ophthalmology experience including ophthalmology training in Christchurch, New Zealand and Monash Health Melbourne, a Cornea Research Fellowship at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, and a Medical Retina Fellowship at Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA) and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne. Since 2008, she serves the community of Melbourne South-East both in public and private appointments.
